The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV) is a novel, one-of-a-kind initiative designed to leverage the skills, resources and infrastructure of higher education to offer cutting-edge, experiential training in entrepreneurship and small business management to post-9/11 veterans. The aim of the program is to open the door to economic opportunity for our veterans by developing their competencies in the steps and activities associated with creating and sustaining an entrepreneurial venture.

Our goal is to help low income youth break out of the poverty cycle and change the trajectory of their future. The YBA (www.youthbizalliance.com) is a nonprofit organization that teaches disadvantaged and at risk high school students about soft skills, career readiness, financial literacy, and business 101. There are 3 elements to our program - curriculum, guest speakers, and field trips. We currently serve about 400 students in 16 LA-area high schools and have approximately 25 Field Trip Partners and 1,000 registered Guest Speakers.
