Senior Systems Engineer (Microsoft)

Description: Reporting to the CISO, the Senior Systems Engineer (Microsoft) will be responsible for planning, installing, operating and maintaining a Microsoft Active Directory Architecture and Domain Controller Infrastructure across many sites. Infrastructure is a combination of cloud based VMs and actual on premise hardware.

Required:

  • Technical background and a minimum of seven (7) years working in technical field

    • Currently supported Windows desktop and server platforms 
    • Active Directory
    • Group Policies
    • Domain Controller Infastructure

Preferred:

  • MCSE certification(s)
  • Military veteran in technical MOS or equivalent experience working in or with the United States government

Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

Description:  Reporting to the President, the CISO is responsible for keeping Ariento and our clients secure. The CISO will define and drive a security strategy to protect Ariento's corporate, employee and customer data from compromise by designing a security program to inhibit, detect and respond to threats. To be successful, you will need to lead and empower three teams: the security operations center (defense) team, the penetration testing (offense) team, and the security research & development team, and implement the processes and technologies required to enable them. You will oversee Ariento's security architecture, incident detection and response, and technical compliance programs. This position will also partner with our client services team to support Ariento's customers. The candidate must be results-driven and able to articulate complex concepts to all audiences, ranging from technical contributors to small business owners. 

Responsibilities:

  • Keep Ariento and our clients secure
  • Oversee the implementation of policies, standards and procedures across all of Ariento and our clients
  • Ensure technical compliance for Ariento and it's clients with respect to relevant state and federal information security policies and applicable regulations
  • Keep abreast of latest security and privacy legislation, regulations, advisories, alerts and vulnerabilities important to Ariento and our clients
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive information security and risk management program to protect the integrity, confidentiality and availability of Ariento's information assets; refine strategy as necessary to adapt to evolving risks and threats
  • Provide subject matter expertise to the President on a broad range of security topics
  • Develop business-relevant metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s security program; provide regular status updates to the President
  • Direct the development and implementation of security controls, standards, policies and procedures to ensure continuous monitoring and protection of information systems and physical property; ensure that compliance is maintained against both corporate security policies and industry standards
  • Direct the response to security incidents to include investigation, remediation and litigation support activities
  • Oversee the company’s vendor risk management program
  • Oversee the penetration testing of our clients
  • Lead product vulnerability response efforts by to assess, mitigate and disclose vulnerabilities
  • Partner closely with the client services team on product security programs and certifications that support Ariento's customer assurance objectives
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of information privacy policies and procedures 
  • Oversee the development of a corporate security awareness and training program
  • Oversee and champion the internal use of Ariento's technologies (including internal beta testing); identify product issues and provide feedback to drive improvements
  • Support sales efforts by presenting the company’s security strategy, goals and results to potential customers or at industry conferences

Required:

  • Technical background and a minimum of seven (7) years working in information security or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of security technology, business system continuity planning, auditing and risk management as it relates to information security
  • Familiarity with Information Security industry standards/best practices and relevant regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, GLBA, FISMA, NIST, ISO)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a security clearance

Cybersecurity Intern

Description: Ariento is seeking interns to help ethically hack (penetration test) client companies and to work in our Security Operations Center to help protect client companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct penetration tests on client companies
  • Assist in security assessment activities and analysis
  • Assist with remedying of identified vulnerabilities
  • Monitor Security Operations Center (SOC) alerts; analyze to determine if suspicious activity
  • Write custom software rules to optimize SOC platform

Required:

  • Currently attending a 4-year university, majoring in computer science, computer engineering, information security or related field
  • Technical background with interest in startups and/or cybersecurity
  • Proactive individual who doesn’t need to be told what to do
