Ariento has partnered with HireRight for background screening. Select the button that applies to you below to sign up for a HireRight account under Ariento’s partner program. Once setup, you can request screenings and Ariento can validate screening is complete prior to creating user accounts and on audits/assessments.

How long does the sign up process take?
The overall company onboarding and credentialing process typically takes 5-7 business days. Once complete, individual background screenings typically take 5-10 business days for engaged candidates that are responsive to requests for information from HireRight.
What do I need to register?
You will need your legal company name, legal business address, FEIN, billing information, and the ability to eSign documents on behalf of the company (i.e. signing authority).
What are the steps to sign up?
Company onboarding and credentialing
Register at ariento.com/hireright (IMPORTANT: Make sure the person that registers has signing authority for the company)
Receive email confirmation and a credentialing case will be opened
HireRight credentialing team will reach out within 24-48 hours with and instruction packet and a link to download mobile app for virtual review of workspace
Once virtual review is complete, HireRight will notify you within 24-48 hours if you passed credentialing. If you fail, a reason why will be given.
You can now login into HireRight portal and order background screenings for your induvial employees
What is company onboarding and credentialing?
Company onboarding and credentialing is a one time thing to verify you are a real business and to comply with regulations related to having access to and protecting personally identifiable information (PII) for your candidates. Details of process can be found here.
How much does company onboarding and credentialing cost?
There is a one time $150 setup charge for company onboarding and credentialing.
I already have a HireRight account, what should I do?
You still need to register at ariento.com/hireright but you do NOT need to go through credentialing again. After you register, tell the credentialing representative when they reach out that you have an existing account and provide the account number. Ask them to add an external login field to your current account inside screening credentials so you can toggle between your Ariento account and current account.
After I signup, how do I order background screenings?
Login to HireRight portal here
Make sure you are on the “Screening Manager” Page. If not navigate to Employment Screening->Orders and Reports on left hand menu.
Click New Order button on top right.
Select job location (Note: if you don’t see the job location, click “select” or “add new”)
Select package (Minimum Screening is all that is required for Ariento, however other options exist and can be selected at company’s discretion)
Select add on screening products you want (not required) and click next
Select “Email applicant information to log on and complete background forms” and enter candidates information and click next
Submit order
I need to hire New York City residents
If you are hiring individuals that live in New York City, you must sign up for a second account here. This is due to specialized background screening regulations for New York City residents.
How much does it cost for individual background screenings?
Ariento requires minimum screening which costs $71. Other packages that include MVR checks, drug testing and/or credit checks range up to $100+. Optional add ons can also be selected which increase price.
When I login to HireRight, I see a banner that says my account is in test status, what does this mean?
This means you haven’t completed the initial company onboarding and credentialing process.

HireRight is not being responsive, what can I do?
If you have opened a ticket or registered for the service and haven’t heard anything from HireRight for 48 hours, you can provide your open ticket number or Case ID to ariento.com/support and we will ask our HireRight rep to escalate your ticket.
